Item Summary

A flock of little yellow chicks defy their father's order not to venture out of their barn at night. After all the other animals have gone to sleep, the chicks sneak out, and initially revel in what they perceive to be a predator-free environment. Soon they encounter a flock of owls and a teeth-baring fox, from which they flee fearfully back to the barn. They cry for their mother and father to open the doors and let them in, and promise never to go out at night again.
