Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- 2. fol. 86a-121b: Kitāb Manhaj al-al-inṣāf al-ʻāṣim min tawahhum al-khilāf / taʼlīf Muḥammad ibn ʻIzz al-Dīn ibn Muḥammad ibn ʻIzz al-Dīn al-Muftī al-Muʼayyadī. On the life of the Prophet and his companions. Incomplete at beginning.
- 3. fol. 123a-134b: Kitāb Tanbīh al-ghabī ilá al-salsabīl al-rawī fī wujūb taḥīyat ahl al-bayt al-nabawī / Shihāb al-Dīn Aḥmad ibn ʻAbd Allāh[?] ibn Mūsá al-Nāshirī al-Shāfiʻī. A treatise based on the work of Ibn Ḥajar al-Haythamī entitled al-Ṣawāʻiq al-muḥriqah ʻalá ahl al-rafḍ wa-al-zandaqah, which is a treatise against the Shīʻites in defence of the orthodox doctrine of the caliphate.
- 4. fol. 135a-181a: Kitāb al-Risālah al-muḍīyah fī al-tanbīh ʻalá ʻaqāʼid aʼimmat al-Zaydīyah wa-al-muḥaqqiqīn min al-sādah al-Ṣūfīyah. On the Ṣūfī stance with regard to free will and predestination. It is of unknown authorship although a note on the title page suggests Aḥmad ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Wazīr for an author.

- Later type III (without flap) binding in dark brown leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants. Blind-tooled edging. Residue on folio 85a suggesting the first work was bound separately at some time.
