- Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. The paper containing the text is older than that of the margins, into which it has been inserted.
- Collation: Paper ; fol. 300 ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 27 lines per page ; frame-ruled in red, blue, black and silver.
- Description: Text in red and commentary (with vowel signs) in black ; overlining in red ; MS in good condition, mended.
- Decoration: Elaborate illuminated headpiece in gold, orange, blue, purple,white and black. Text on opening spread within clouds on gold ground with yellow, red and blue flowers (fol. 1b-2a).
- Origin: Text is probably from XVIIth century.
- Incipit: بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم الحمد لله الذي نزل الفرقان علي عبده ليكون للعالمين ... وبعد فان اعظم العلوم مقدارا وارقمها شرفا ومنارا علم التفسير ...
