The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 58 + i ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 11 lines per page in two columns ; frame-ruled in red.
- Description: Rubricated ; full vowel signs ; watermarks (animal, countermark with roman-alphabet letters "AF" with a clover) ; MS in very good condition except some pages mended.
- Decoration: Illuminated headpiece in gold, blue, red and black. Gold sections have a pattern created with indentations. Fols. 1b and 2a frame-ruled in gold and blue.
- Origin: Probably 19th century (Imām Shāmil).

- Binding Note
- Contemporaneous? type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants outlined in gold and blind-tooled decorative edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Marbled paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands.
