Marginal notes and glosses. On the title page are autographs of several owners and date of death of author. On two folios after the colophon the copyist has quoted from Ibn Khallikānʼs account of the authorʼs life and selections from his poetry.
Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 166 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 21 lines per page in two columns ; frame-ruled in red.
Description: Rubricated ; watermarks (crown-star-crescent) ; MS in good condition but several folios are worm-eaten and mended.
Origin: According to colophon copy completed Sunday 12 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 1092 by ʻĪsá ibn Muḥammad ibn Salmān (fol. 163b).

Binding Note
Later type II (with flap) binding in red leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with pendants and decorative blind-tooled edging. Gold-sprinkled orange paper pastedown. Multi-colored endbands. Flap is detached.
