Zaibunnisa - directed by Fareed Ahmed & produced by Muhammad Akram Chaudhry. Shamim Ara, Waheed Murad, Aliya, Talish, Munir Zareef, Saleem Nasir, Sheikh Iqbal, Tamanna, Fazil Butt, Iqbal Durrani, Jalil Afghani, Shah Nawaz, Jameel Bismil, Irfan Khoosat, Ghayyur Akhtar, Abbu Shah - cast. Zeb-un-Nisa (1639-1702) was an elder daughter of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir (1618-1707) but the character of this film has nothing to do with the real Zeb-un-Nisa. It is a fictional history of a Mughal princess from the 1857-era. Shamim Ara played the title role and Saleem Nasir was seen as the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar (1837-57). This is an anti-British Raj film in Urdu language.

Part of Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection

The Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection contains posters and film booklets produced from the second half of the twentieth century forward. The collection was compiled by Mr. Umar Ali of Multan. The project to digitize and describe the collection of more than 3,000 film posters has been a three-year endeavor in partnership with the Mushfiq Khwaja Trust for the Advancement of Knowledge and Culture in Karachi. In addition to the film posters, related film booklets (790 total) are available for in-person use and can be discovered in Princeton's catalog. Researchers who can visit Princeton in person may also want to explore a collection of 52 censor certificates.
