Zeb-un-Nisa (1639-1702) was an elder daughter of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb Alamgir (1618-1707) but the character of this film has nothing to do with the real Zeb-un-Nisa. It is a fictional history of a Mughal princess from the 1857-era. Shamim Ara played the title role and Saleem Nasir was seen as the last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar (1837-57). This is an anti-British Raj film in Urdu language.
