Ghazi Ilmuddin Shaheed - directed & produced by Haider. Haidar, Navin Tajik, Habib, Najma Mehboob, Bahar, Afzaal Ahmad, Ali Ejaz, Masood Akhtar, Seema, Imdad Hussain, Changezi, Sheikh Iqbal, Munawar Saeed, Rehan, Asha Poslay, Saqi, Abbu Shah, Najma, Aliya, Iqbal Hassan, Badar Munir, Asif Khan, Qavi Khan, Ilyas Kashmiri - cast. This is a Punjabi film about Ilmuddin, a young Muslim carpenter in Lahore who assasinated a Hindu publisher, Mahashe Rajpal Malhotra, for writing and disseminating content deemed blasphemous and derogatory towards Prophet Muḥammad in 1929. Ilmuddin subsequently faced the death penalty for murder and was executed in Central Jail Mianwali in Punjab.

Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection
The Pakistani Film Ephemera Collection contains posters and film booklets produced from the second half of the twentieth century forward. The collection was compiled by Mr. Umar Ali of Multan. The project to digitize and describe the collection of more than 3,000 film posters has been a three-year endeavor in partnership with the Mushfiq Khwaja Trust for the Advancement of Knowledge and Culture in Karachi. In addition to the film posters, related film booklets (790 total) are available for in-person use and can be discovered in Princeton's catalog. Researchers who can visit Princeton in person may also want to explore a collection of 52 censor certificates.
