A few marginal annotations, particularly on the first pages. Several inscriptions, mostly quoting ḥadīth, on fol. 1a-b and 2a. Several inscriptions in Arabic and Persian on fol. 86b. Several inscriptions in Arabic and Roman script on the upper cover, including the inscription "239" in black ink, using Western numerals (corresponds to no. in Brill's list ; see Houtsma, M. Th. Catalogue d'une collection de manuscrits arabes et turcs, no. 443).

Description: Written in medium small naskh in black ink, with larger script for "qawluh".
Copy completed in Damascus on 2 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 845 by ʻAbd al-Raḥīm ibn al-Mawlá al-ʻālim al-ʻāmil al-fāḍil ---? [Hitti reads ʻAlī] ibn Rakhāḥī [Hitti reads Rukhāmī] [--] ibn al-shaykh al-rabbānī al-zāhid al-Ṣamadānī Shaykh Bābā Abī Dāʼud ibn Shaykh Muḥammad al-ANSī [Hitti reads Anasī] al-Shabistārī (colophon, fol. 79b ; two dates appear in the colophon, 2 Dhū al-Ḥijjah 845 and 846, and it is not clear to what they refer).
