25 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of red. Ḥāshiyah on the margins. Fol. 3 is pasted on the next folio. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals (first fly-leaves with inscriptions are counted fol. 1-3). Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Uṣūl thānī 55".
Copy completed on Friday 29 Jumādá al-Awwal 737 [January 3, 1337]. Copy of the mamlūk Āqbughābākī Ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Malikī al-Nāṣīrī (colophon, fol. 205a).
Collation: Paper, fol. ii, 203, i ; iii (fly-leaves, with inscriptions ; fol. iii is pasted on the first fol. of the first quire) + 1¹⁰ 2-19¹⁰ 20¹⁰ (+2, fol. 194 and 205 + i ; catchword on the verso of each leaf, except central bifolio of each quire ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals, in the form "thānī" (see fol. 14a).
