- Colophon: [كتاب شرح نظم علي] وان کان ساقطا فليس هو في موضعه المعروف المشهور والله سبحانه وتعالى اعلم -- [رسالة في الاسطرلاب] وقد وافق الفراغ من کتابته في اواخر رجب سنة اثنين وتسعين ومايتين والف وذلك على يد کاتبه الفقير محمد علي المحاسني بمدة نيابتي بقضاء صافيتا وهذا الکتاب من تأمل فيه يجد بعض کلمات خالية عن المعنا [من المعنى] وبعض کلمات زائدة احرف والبعض ناقصة احرف فهذا الخطأ واقع من النسخة المنقول عنها ولجهلي بهذا العلم وعدم وقوفي على معانيه لم امکنني [يمکنني] ان اصحح المختل منه بل کتبته کما وجدته بالنسخة القديمة واسئل [اسال] الله التوفيق الى تعليم هذا العلم حيث انه علم نافع والله الموفق. تم

- Contemporaneous type II (with flap) binding in tan leather. Blind-stamped mandorla with other stamped decoration and blind-tooled edging on covers. Similar decoration on flap. Multi-colored endbands.
