Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- Collation: Paper ; fol. i + 236 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
- Layout: 16-17 lines per page.
- Description: Written in small naskh in black on beige glazed, laid Arabic paper ; some damp staining, particularly toward beginning and end of manuscript, marginal insect damage.
- Origin: All texts copied by the same scribe, Ibn Muḥammad Sharīf al-Khātūnʹābādī Muḥammad al-mulaqqab bi-al-Kāẓim, teacher at al-Masjid al-Jāmiʻ and servant of al-Rawḍah al-Riḍawīyah [Mashhad] (leaf 172a). Text 7 dated Ṣafar 1128 H [January-February 1716] (leaf 123a). Text 8 dated 25 Rabīʻ I 1128 H [19 March 1716] (leaf 172a). Text 9 dated 29 Rabīʻ I 1128 H [23 March 1716] (leaf 180b). Text 14 dated 5 Jumādá II 1128 H [27 May 1716] (leaf 215a). Remaining texts likely completed in the same year.
