Item Summary
A commentary on a prayer by Ibn al-ʻArabī. According to Hitti (see ref. below) the name of the prayer is Muẓhirat ʻarāʼis al-mukhabbaʼāt bi-al-lisān al-ʻArabī, and this has been accepted by Brockelmann, Hitti being the only reference to this work. However, the title in the ms. itself (see above) suggests that this is in fact the title of the work (with one difference: "Muẓhirah li-ʻarāʼis" as opposed to "Muẓhirat al-ʻarāʼis") and the only reference to the name of the prayer is made at the beginning of the text, as Ṣalāt al-qalb (see incipit).

- The text ends on fol. 5a and is followed by a prayer by the author on fol. 5a-6b. The text is possibly missing a sheet (i.e. two fol.) -- see explicit where the text at the start of fol. 5a does not seem to follow from the end of fol. 4b and the catchword is not the first word of fol. 5a (the latter is also the case with fol. 2b and 3a).
