A French sailor, André Marti, incites a rebellion on a french war ship in the Black Sea in support of the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution. He is arrested and imprisoned in France, but is released at the demand of the workers, sailors, and soldiers of France. He returns to the Soviet Union and is awarded the Order of the Red Banner.
