Project Omega was conceived by the Library's Strategic Council - a scoped three year project aimed to facilitate the effective discovery and presentation of our collections, with a focus on the digitization of the Special Collections Graphic Arts backlog in Firestone library.

The Graphic Arts Collection holds prints, drawings, photographs, paintings, sculpture, and printed ephemera along with an international book collection specializing in fine press,

This group of Japanese and Chinese prints and drawings was donated by Gillett G. Griffin (1928–2016), curator emeritus of graphic arts, in honor of Dale Roylance. It represents a small portion of the Far Eastern works on paper held by the Graphic Arts division. Also included are several sketchbooks, which were collected together with the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century drawings.
