Description provided by artist: "I created the work "Jesus" at the onset of the full-scale invasion and amid the unfolding tragic events, including Russia’s adoption of the Latin letters Z and V as military symbols. The image of the sacred martyr was augmented with a scorched Z, symbolizing a new evil that destroys faith in justice."
