Journal kept by Glyn, a British ensign in the detachment of 1000 men commanded by Brig. Gen. Matthew in 1776, covering their American service. Includes descriptions of the departure from England; accounts of fighting and troop movements in New Jersey, including the Battle of Princeton; forays into New York State and Connecticut, and their return to London.
