A full length portrait of John Calvin, the head, feet and hands traditionaly conveyed by engraving, his vestment with its pleats micrographically represented by engraved miniature type of a text consisting of Christian duties according to Scripture. Within two rectangular frames in a slightly larger script, the corners of which are entwined, the Apostles' Creed.
