An acephalous work similar in scope to al-Samarqandīʼs Mukhtalaf al-riwāyah; the method of arrangement agrees with that described by al-Samarqandī as being peculiar to the works of his predecessors - he says in the pref. of Mukhtalij al-riwāyah (ms. 3677, fol. 1b): وارسم لخلاف کل واحد من الاىمة بابا على ترتىب الذى رتبه بعض اساتذنا ... غىر انهم اوردوا الکتب کلها فى کل باب وانا اورد الابواب کلها فى کل کتاب
Accordingly, the present work assigns a bāb to each of the imāms, and subdivides each bāb according to the usual order of law books: Kitāb al-Ṣalāh. Kitāb al-Zakāh, etc.
9 kurrāsahs are missing at the beginning; on fol. 9a the end of bāb Muḥammad (i.e., al-Shaybānī) and the beginning of a new bāb: بان قول ابى حنىفة على خلاف قول ابى ىوسف

باب قول زفر مخالفا لقول اصحابنا:(39a).
Lacuna after fol. 50; the last bāb begins on fol. 94b: باب جوابات مالك بن انس
