Sūrah XLVIII: 28 (in part) to the end are added by a later hand and part is in margin. Inscription (fol. (i)a). Latin description of the manscript (fol. (ii)a).
Collation: Paper ; fol. ii + 79 ; catchwords ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 5-7 lines per page ; fol. 2-31 frame-ruled in gold and black with gold-sprinkling inside the frame.
Description: MS in good condition.
Decoration: Opening spread framed in gold, red, blue and black (fol. 1b-2a). Headpieces of similar design at beginning of each subsequent sūrah.
Origin: Probably from XVIth century.
Binding Note
Later type III (without flap) binding in red leather. Marble paper pastedowns.
