“This Report is divided into seven chapters. Chapter A profiles the ARC sector and the terms of reference of the Committee. Chapter B records the genesis of the ARC sector and briefly analyses design aspects of its international counterparts. Chapter C describes the regulatory and legal framework under which ARCs operate. Chapter D analyses and makes recommendations on the acquisition, securitisation and asset reconstruction aspects of ARC business. Chapter E is dedicated to analysing and recommending measures for stimulation of trading and listing of security receipts. Chapter F covers various other issues pertaining to the ARC sector. The final chapter summarises the Committee’s recommendations with appropriate action indicators.”
