“Governance is the institutional capacity of public organizations to provide public and other goods demanded by a country’s citizens or the representatives thereof in an effective, transparent, impartial, and accountable manner, subject to resource constraints. The broad mandate of the Group on ‘Governance’ included analysis of sectoral challenges, overarching sectoral recommendations, ministry-wise 5-year vision with annual milestones and identification of one or two impactful decisions implemented by each member in the first 100-days of the Government.”
