22 to 25 lines per page. Written in medium small casual naskh using black ink. The commented text is overlined in black. Some portions of the text are crossed out (see fasc. 1, fol. 1a). Glazed European paper with watermark ("Tre lune"). Catchword on the verso of the last leaf of each quire. From fasc. 2 on, the quires are numbered using Arabic numerals (fasc. 3, 4, and 5 numbered consecutively, our copy comprising thus 3 vol.). Note on the number of quires and leaves on the first fol. of each fascicle (except fasc. 1, aceph.). From fasc. 2, fol. 225b on: date on the lower outer corner of the last leaf of each quire. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Inscription "NES no. 1322" on a label pasted on the inner side of the upper cover. Inscription "ELS no. 1323" on a label pasted on the fly leaf before fol. 1a of fasc. 1.
