A notebook containing songs, memoranda, and accounts. About half of the manuscript contains folk songs, and the other half notes on the price of tobacco, expenses of the store, and accounts with other merchants. Some of the songs and notes are in Arabic.

The Houtsma and Littmann Collections constitute Princeton's holdings of the al-Madani library and are the focus of an ongoing three year digitization initiative that commenced in the Fall of 2021 and was completed in 2024.
