Commentary on Mukhtaṣar al-muntahá, an abridgment by Jamāl al-Dīn ʻUthmān ibn al-Ḥājib (d. 646/1249) of his own Muntahá al-suʼāl wa-al-amal fī ʻilmay al-uṣūl wa-al-jadal, a manual of Malikī law. The commentary was completed on 10 Jumādá II 766 [March 4, 1365] (see end of text, fol. 167a). The text is followed on fol. 167b-168a by a commentary on the introduction of the Muntahá attributed to Ibn al-ḤBāb (fol. damaged with loss of text). Biographical note on the author on fol. 1a.
