17 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red for headings, re-inking and punctuation. Light cream glazed paper. Collation notes. Incomplete at the beginning (the Arabic foliation on the first original extant leaf reads "6"). According to the foliation using Arabic numerals and the catchwords, some leaves are missing (see between fol. 134 and fol. 136, between fol. 137 and 138). Entire quires seem also to be missing (see mention "al-sādis" on fol. 36a and "al-ʻāshir" on fol. 47a). Some leaves are damaged or repaired (see fol. 134-135, 142), sometimes with the original text re-written on the repair (see fol. 153-154). Some leaves are later replacements (see fol. 200-203). Catchword on the verso of each leaf. The quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals (in the form " al-sādis", see fol. 36a). Foliation in red ink using Arabic numerals. Foliation in pencil using Western numerals. Stamp from the library of Majd al-Dīn (no. 1275, see fol. 2a). Seal on fol. 331a.
