- Annenkov's avant garde illustrations and design provide the setting for this terrifying poem "... youth sacrificed, children with weapons ... houses in ruins, the lack of food, a parliament without chairs or tables. Images which haunt the author and of which he frees himself at quarter past eight. (The actual Russian translates as "A quarter of nine").
