Decoration: Bird initial, marginal ornaments. Miniatures: King Darius with attendant and lion (leaf 31r); Darius' family, scene featuring Alexander seated (31v); Alexander on a throne flanked by two men on a cross (33r); Alexander on his throne carried by two men (N11v); Darius on his throne with couriers (D11); Alexander holding the trunks of two trees (35r); trees (61r).
Origin: According to the colophon of the parent manuscript, copied in 975 [1526] at the church of Surb Astuacacin (Holy Theotokos) in the monastery of Xaṙabastay by Margaray Arčišec'i, with paintings by Catholicos Grigoris Alt'amari
