"This report presents the findings of our baseline study conducted in November 2023 in seven provinces of Afghanistan: Badakhshan, Daikundi, Faryab, Ghazni, Kapisa, Paktia, and Takhar. The study evaluated the livelihoods, food security, natural resource management (NRM), disaster risk reduction (DRR), impact of climate change and access to basic health services among vulnerable, rural households and communities to establish and measure baseline indicators for the Empowering Rural Afghanistan II program, Empowering Afghan Civil Society in Mitigating the Negative Impacts of Climate Change in Rural Communities project, and Improving Food Security through Infrastructure Support in Rural Afghanistan project."
