Early provenance unknown. Sold in 1830 by booksellers John and Arthur Arch to Obadiah Rich who purchased it for Robert Gilmor, Jr. Passed through members of the Gilmor family. Later acquired by Thomas Harrison Garrett and bequeathed to his son Robert Garrett. His gift to Princeton University Library in 1942.

Description: Running titles in red and blue.
Decoration: 1- and 2-line pen-work initials in blue and red for versals, chapters, regular psalms, and prologue for Pentateuch. 5- and 8-line pen-work initials in blue or red, adorned with flourishes, often with foliage, creatures, and figures in Hebraic Psalms. 5-line decorated initials for two prologues of the double psalter. 8-line historiated initials for the first prologue, Frater Ambrosius, books of the Bible, and in the Gallican psalms. Colors of blue, rose, orange, green, pink, gray, tawny yellow, and burnished gold. Later binding. Bound in 1832 by Obadiah Rich in England. Blue morocco with gold tooling, and gold-tooled turn-ins. Blue paper pastedowns. Multi-colored endbands. Gilt edges. 2 purple ribbon markers.
