Incipit: "Universis presentes litteras inspecturis, Ricardus de britolio, Radulphus de gaoudeschart, Droco de sauquezes et Petrus de iuuegnies armigeri, homines feodati abbatis sancti Luciani Beluacensis, iudicantes in curia eiusdem abbatis de antiqua et approbata et hactenus pacifice obseruata consuetudine, salutem in domino. Noueritis quod cum inter predictum abbatem et conuentum eiusdem loci ex vna parte et homines suos hospites in villa de grandiuillari ex altera parte contentio verteretur ..."

Along the top margin of the document are the initials "B.G.F.J." On the dorse are an early modern summary, a late medieval endorsement (“littera homines de grandiuill[a]”), an inscription (“Baillia anib'(?)/G. f.”). the name "Granduillers l.w(?)" and "N.17".
Collation: Parchment.
Layout: 27 long lines ; lightly ruled.
Description: Lower edge folded up with slits cut for ten seals to be affixed with parchment tags. Only one tag remains.
Decoration: Calligraphic treatment of ascenders and descenders throughout.
Accompanying materials: A later copy (241 x 182 mm) on paper.
