A collection of eulogies, stories, and descriptions in verse and prose containing the Kitāb Durar al-nuḥūr fī al-tawbah ilá al-malik al-ghafūr, being the Muʻashsharāt [decastiches] of Kamāl al-Dīn Yūsuf ibn [Saʻīd ibn] ʻAlī al-Kafarqūqī al-Ṭuwāwī; a story about Ḥātim al-Aṣamm; al-Khiṣāl al-muthlīyah wa-al-fawāʼid al-munajjiyah from the works of the Shaykh Ibn Hilāl; an ode in praise of solitude by Sharaf al-Dīn al-Kātib; the story of Ibrāhīm ibn Adham and why he turned ascetic; the story of Ibrāhīm al-Junayd taken from Kitāb Zuhd al-mulūk; and the story of Sarī al-Saqaṭī.

The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.
