Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- A collection containing:
- 1. Tawḍīḥ al-Tadhkirah [al-Nāṣirīyah], a commentary by al-ḥasan ibn Muḥammad, known as Niẓām al-Dīn al-Naysābūrī d. ca. A.H. 710 [A.D. 1310/1], on al-Tadhkirah al-Nāṣirīyah, a work on astronomy by Nāṣir al-Dīn al-Ṭūsī, A.H. 672 [A.D. 1274].
- Copied A.H. 1011 [A.D. 1602/3] by Manṣūr ibn Maḥmūd al-ḥusaynī al-Samnānī [?]. Work incomplete at beginning. See ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), II, pp. 268/9; Catalogue des manuscrits arabes de la Bibliothèque Nationale, 2510.
- 2. al-ḥikmah al-Rashīdīyah fī taḥṣīl al-uṣūl al-ṭabīʻīyah wa-al-ilāhīyah, a work on physics and metaphysics. Copied A.H. 933 [A.D. 1527] by ḥasan al-Jīlānī.
- 3. al-Fawāʼid al-Bahāʼīyah fī al-qawāʻid al-ḥisābīyah, a treatise on arithmetic and geometry by ʻImād al-Dīn ʻAbd Allāh ibn Muḥammad al-Khaddām al-Baghdādī d. after A.H. 736 [A.D. 1335/6]. See ḥājjī Khalīfah, Kashf al-ẓunūn (1835-58), IV, p. 471; Ahlwardt, Verzeichnis der arabischen Handschriften, 5976. A folio or more is missing between folios 1 and 2. Folio 1 is defective. Probably from XVIth Century.
- Marginal and interlinear notes and glosses. MS illustrated with diagrams; in fair condition but worm-eaten; modern Arabic cloth binding.
