Manuscripts of the Islamic World offers a curated selection of extraordinary manuscripts hosted or held by Princeton University Library. The manuscripts are predominantly in Arabic, but there are also many in Persian and Ottoman Turkish. The manuscript digitizations here are a fraction of the full Manuscripts of the Islamic World collections, housed in Special Collections in Princeton's Firestone Library. Efforts are ongoing to make the manuscripts of these collections more accessible through conservation, catalog record updates, and digitization.

- 1. leaves 1a-7b: Majmūʻat al-adʻiyah / Abū al-Ḥasan ʻAlī ibn ʻAbd Allāh al-Shādhilī. Includes prayers known as Waqīʻah, al-Raḥmān, Sayf, and ʻAhdnāmah. Text followed on leaf 7b by a statement in Turkish on the blessing and grace of the last prayer.
- 2. leaves 8b-23b: Taʻlīqah ʻalá asmāʼ al-ḥusná al-musammá bi-Qaṣīdat al-Dimyāṭīyah / ʻĪsá ibn Muḥammad al-Ṣafawī. Text is followed by a short prayer attributed to ʻAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī.
- 3. leaves 24a--24b: Qaṣīdah al-Jaljalūṭīyah / ʻAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib.
- 4. leaves 24b-25b: Munājāt.
- 5. leaves 25b-26a: Qaṣīdat al-ʻuqūd al-laʼāliʼ wa-al-durar.
- 6. leaf 26a: Qaṣīdah / Zayn al-ʻĀbidīn ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusayn.
- 7. leaves 27b-84a: al-Adʻiyah al-muntakhabah fī al-adwiyah al-mujarrabah / ʻAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Muḥammad al-Bisṭāmī. Includes prayers for different occasions, a commentary on al-Shādhilīʼs prayer, Ḥizb al-baḥr, and a commentary on the effects of divine names.
- 8. leaves 84b-90a: Rumuz-i Dilgüşa, bab 7 / İbn İsa-yı Saruhanî. On the esma ul-husna. Text is followed by several pages quoted from various sources; a section from al-Ghazzālīʼs book Khawāṣṣ al-Qurʼān; a section from Kitāb al-Khawaṣṣ al-ḥayawān; and miscellaneous prayers.
