Engraved title page (showing a bust of Louis XIV overlooking the Place Royale) signed by Rousselet; other engravings by Silvestre and Chauveau.
16 leaves of unnumbered plates (on 4 folded double-leaves) following page 8, depict the procession, and 3 other double-leaf plates (after pages 63-64, 65-66, 67-[68], resp. in second paging sequence) depict the tournament.
Other engravings depict tournament participents, in elaborate chivalric costumes as Romans, Persians, Turks, East Indians, and Native Americans; separate engravings show their emblematic devices.
A few leaves (in the page 17-[62] sequence) also have printing on verso: e.g. 34, 50, 52, 59.
