Includes 58 leaves of drawings and 13 leaves of printed text. Illustrated with original drawings by a single, unidentified artist in pencil, black ink, and gray wash. Leaves mounted on stubs; thick paper watermarked Canson & Montgolfier Vidalon-les-Annonay, and Laroche-Joubert & Co.; traces of tissue guards to inner margins (only one remaining).
Binding Note
Contemporary red morocco to upper cover, with gilt border and gilt title and dedication, neatly recornered; rebacked (spine in compartments, decorated and lettered in gilt) and lower board recovered in red morocco; marbled endpapers.
