Inscribed in ink, verso: "You must come home immediately and bring my cup with you".

Unsigned.

Slightly earlier in style and dress- 1790's? to most of the other sketches, a vigorous sketch capturing the obsession of the players. The gambling coves, doubtless all to familiar from Rowlandson's own play, are of the type seen in A kick-up at a hazard.
