Document pertaining to the entail of Redgrave Hall property near Rickinghall, Suffolk, to Sir Nicholas Bacon (1509-1579), first Lord Keeper of the Privy Seal under Elizabeth I (r. 1558-1603), and dated 3 October 1566. The entail is a regrant to Sir Nicholas Bacon from Thomas Seckford (1515?-1588) and Robert Nowell (d. 1569) and is signed by all three. Contemporary inscription on the dorse "to remayne with Edward" indicating it was intended to be passed on to Bacon's third son, Edward.
