- Provenance
- Princeton MS. 79 was written around 1455, the year given in the rota on fol. 15r. It is possibly of Florentine origin, to judge from the inclusion of locally venerated saints in the calendar Intermediate provenance is unknown. In 1951, Mrs. Carl W. Jones of Minneapolis and Dr. Silvain S. Brunschwig of New York City donated the manuscript to the Princeton University Library.

- Parchment; fols. 21, folded vertically into thirds, the top half then folded down to 70 x 35 mm; when open, leaves measure 135 x 110 mm (123 x 86 mm); the two vertical folds in each leaf form three columns.
- Script: Textualis rotunda.
- Decoration: Elaborate rota table on 90 x 90 mm square, gold, blue, green, red (fol. 15r). Each calendar leaf (fols. 1-12) begins with a 5-line blue initial KL with red pen work.
- Binding Note
- Italy, 15th century. Dark brown leather wrapper extending over the fore-edge. The textblock is riveted together with three brass nails anchored into brass plates ending in a loop, from which the folding calendar could be carried on a monk's belt or girdle.
