Provenance
Note that the ms was offered as a memorial to the Church of Surb Step'annos at Tašmertiwen in 1185/1736 (fol. 143v). Note that the ms remained at that Church in 1809 (fol. 110v). Belonged to M. Indjoudjian prior to entering the Garrett Collection.

Collation: Parchment ; fol. ii (paper) + 208 + ii (paper) ; modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Layout: 18 lines per page in two columns.
Description: Watermarks (later flyleaves: three crescents, crown over "AO") ; MS in poor condition, edges damaged, pages repaired. Some faint text overwritten.
Decoration: Ornate illuminated headpieces on the openings of the Gospels, and decorated initials (fol. 13r, 69r, and 152r). Some decorated initials and capitals throughout the text.
Binding Note
Later? binding. Blind-tooled brown leather over wooden boards. Red cloth doublures. Multi-colored endbands. Holes across both covers indicate metal furniture now missing.
