Provenance: Thomas Dalziel; his son Herbert and descendants; sold in the Dalziel Studio sale at Sotheby's Belgravia on May 16, 1978, lot 9; from the collection of Peter Stockham (1928-2003), bookseller, who bought them at the sale.
Artist information: Harvey was a student of Thomas Bewick's.
