Part 3 (see colophon, fol. 390a) of a commentary on Tuḥfat al-muḥtāj, a summary and commentary by Ibn Ḥajar al-Haythamī on Minhāj al-ṭālibīn by Yaḥyá ibn Sharaf al-Nawawī (d. 676/1278), on Shāfiʻī fiqh, collected by Manṣūr Sibṭ al-Shaykh al-Ṭablāwī (see end of text, fol. 390a). The copy comprises the text from Kitāb al-bīʻ to the end.

- Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Thānī 385". Inscription in Arabic script on a label pasted on the pastedown of the upper cover: "972/2 ḥāʼ". Traces of a now wanting horizontal label on the fore-edge flap, with title in Arabic.
- Origin: Copy completed on 1 Ṣafar 1249 [June 20, 1833] by Dāwud Ḥajjīw ibn Aḥmad ibn ʻUmar ibn Muḥammad (colophon, fol. 390a).
