Implementation challenges of the PM-Kusum Scheme : case studies from selected Indian states
2024
"The PM-KUSUM scheme, with its three components, was introduced in 2019, with the aim to solarize agriculture and encourage investment in the solar- energy sector by farmers with uncultivated barren land. Since its inception, 4 lakh diesel and electric water-pumps for irrigation have been replaced with solar water-pumps, leading to massive reductions in emissions and increased savings for farmers."
