Title from title page (fol. 1a).
Physical description: 13 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh in black ink with use of larger script in red ink for entries (black ink from fol. 29a on). The text is partially vocalized. Thick dark cream paper, with a few lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins.
Inscription in Arabic numerals on a label pasted on pastedown of the upper cover: "57".
Collation: Paper, fol. 81 ; 1-7¹⁰ 8⁸ (+ 2 at beginning of quire, fol. 71-72) i (fol. 81; later added fly-leaf, with inscription on the recto; European paper with watermark).
Origin: According to colophon, copy completed on Sunday 4 Rajab 725(?) [June 16, 1325] (fol. 80b).
Incipit: الحمد لله رب العالمين حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه كما يجب ربنا ويرضى وكما هو اهله وصلواته على سيدنا محمد ... هذه جملة من الاحاديث النبوية تدل على ابواب من الاحكام الفقهية خرجتها من صحيحى الامامين البخارى ومسلم او احدهما ... كتاب الطهارة باب المياه عن ابي هريرة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يبولن احدكم في الما الدايم الذي لا يجري

Binding Note
Brown leather over paper for upper cover. Brown leather with blind tooled outer border consisting of fillets and central pattern with pendants on the vertical axis (badly damaged) for lower cover. Rebacked.
