Transcript of Spanish legal proceedings and documents pertaining to Gonzalo de Avalos, a native of Úbeda (Jaén Province, Andalucia, Spain), and son of the Regidor Pedro de Avalos. Gonzalo de Avalos was living in Mechuacan, Nueva España (now Michoacán, Mexico) and was represented in Úbeda by his brother Alonso de Avalos. Followed by notarial attestations given in Úbeda, 1567 (fols. 75v-77r).
