- Depiction: Caricature; political satire. Allegorical portrait. Full-length view of 'Swing,' his body comprised of materials used for arson and rioting ('portable gas;' 'turpentine;' 'phosphorus box;' 'pitch;' 'tar;' 'gunpowder.' One foot is a pistol. His eyes are fire balls. His head and torso are made of baled grain.
