Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of two young women seated, each wearing a brooch and long chain, circa 1850s. Daguerreotype housed in a full pressed paper case with motif of girl scattering flowers on both covers. Velvet pad facing daguerreotype is marked "J.P. Ball Artist. Cincinnati." Portions of original seals present in case behind image.
