Limited and outdated existing data and research underscore the need for further and more in-depth exploration of the issues facing this community. Understanding the unique experiences of newcomers is crucial for policymakers, service providers, and researchers to develop more effective support systems and integration strategies. This study is a step in that direction, providing a more encompassing picture of Afghan immigrants’ experiences than previously recorded."
