- Depiction: Charles James Fox is represented as the trusty guardian, standing unmoved and at his ease amidst the "Ministerial thunderbolts". He wears on his head the cap of Liberty, and his support is the staff of "uprightness". His dog, the faithful companion of his rounds, is Vigilance. His lamp, which sheds its light on everything around, is Truth. A paid of superannuated and useless watchmen are shuffling off. Hood "for Greenwich" and Wray "for Chelsea".
