- Political cartoon regarding the murder of William Allen in 1768.
- On label accompanying the print: "A landscape, with the ghost of 'Murdered Allen' rising from the ground in the centre. On the left a column inscribed with the names of Hampden, Marvell, Sidney, and Russell ; Britannia seated at the foot, regarding Pitt, who is standing beneath an angel bearing a crown of laurels, showing Caesar (the king) his 'triumphs.' On the right, another column inscribed with the names of Carr, Buckingham, Laud, and Macclesfield ; just in front of it a zebra, with the head of George III, Lord Bute on his back, and beside him in a pannier, the Princess of Wales, who is acting somewhat indelicately ; above and round them animals, etc., symbolic of corruption. Beneath are 90 lines of verse, objects being occasionally introduced in place of words . . . William Allen was killed by soldiers in a riot outside the King's Bench Prison, where Wilkes was lodged, on May 10th, 1768. An officer and a corporal were subsequently found guilty of willful murder."
